Hi! My name is Monica Caron. I’m a wife, mom and a lover of food. Cooking has always been a passion of mine and my friends often ask me for tips on how to navigate the kitchen. My passion for cooking began at a young age, watching my parents' polar-opposite cooking styles create the perfect pair in the kitchen. My mom was a no-muss-no-fuss kind of gal, and my dad was busy creating masterpieces that took a lot of tender, love and care. I learned that these two worlds can collide.
After 12 years of living in NYC, working at publishers including Condé Nast, Bloomberg, Travelzoo and Rodale my family (husband & daughter) packed up and headed back south to our hometown of Atlanta.
Now my focus is getting everyone comfortable in the kitchen, no matter what someone's skill level may be. Cooking shouldn’t be, and doesn’t have to be complicated. I believe in a healthy lifestyle, all while finding a balance that incorporates full-fat sour cream and bourbon. So follow along, and always feel free to message me with questions and feedback!
